East County Park

East County Park is a 150-acre property nestled in the northeast corner of Somerset County in Warren Township. The park includes an initial 8’ wide half-mile long multi-use nature trail made of stone, and loops around a serene pond with views of nearby meadows.

Water Tower

Located on the grounds of the Cross Estate, this water tower is typical of structures that were once designed to make isolated estates of the time self-sufficient.

Cross Estate Gardens

Tucked away along the headwaters of the Passaic River, the Cross Estate Gardens go back to the early years of the twentieth century when grand country mansions were built as summer retreats in the Somerset Hills. These gardens provide a glimpse into this lifestyle and history.

Horticulture Center

Located nearby the Rose Garden within Colonial Park, this charming cottage is now home the County’s Horticulture Department.

Giardina Walk

Decorated seasonally, this walking street connects Main Street to parking and Somerville Train Station.
